Organize, Manage, and Archive your Garden Projects with A Gardener's Journal. American Made.
Form Pages categorized by gardening cycles. . . Plan, Plant & Grow, Record the Results!

The 'planning' section of our garden journal includes pages for graphing out garden plots and plantings; use the numbered legend to keep track of what's on the garden map.  Our 'garden orders' page provides a means of tracking mail-order and Internet purchases.  Gardeners are always thinking ahead, so we have included 'This Year...Fall' and 'Next Year...Spring' pages for future planning.

A Gardeners Journal purchase records page... a personal favorite of Holly's Our 'Plant & Grow' Section was designed for use especially during the growing season.  A fertilizer schedule to make sure the garden and plants receive the nutrients they need.  If you are in to hybridizing, we have forms for that as well.  Our 'Master List' of annual tasks is a great method for making sure we remember to complete routine gardening tasks.  We have also included pages to keep track of when to spray for pests, or diseases, or when to retreat for weeds, etc. at just the right time for each individual plant.  The 'Transplant and Divide List' is used to plan when and where to move plants; a space is also provided for keeping a list of who to share plant divisions with.

The final section is 'Your Gardening Journal'.  The Journal has temperature and precipitation worksheets to record daily climate details, the results of these can then be transferred over to the 'Climate Records' summary page for the month recorded.  We have included 'Purchase Records' pages with plenty of space to enter detailed information about individual plants; 'Guarantees in Process' pages track how and if a replacement policy exists for one of your purchases.  Use the "Notes About Growing Seasons...' pages to track the good, the bad, and your comments on why something grew successfully, or didn't.  The 'Gardening Resources' pages serve as an address book for keeping contact information to favorite suppliers handy.  Least, but not last, the 'Gardening Journal' pageseverything else about gardening can be written here!

Tabbed Index Pages.  Use to mark particular pages, or journal accessories that are used frequently.

The clear, 3-pocket, page is actually a photo page for 4"x6" photos - use it to store photos or pictures from magazines or catalogs of flowers you like.  Maybe you particularly liked a potted arrangement and would like to duplicate it again next year?  Take a picture and save it here.

Holly's favorite uses for the clear 3-pocket page:

  • a photo saved of a barrel arrangement she did this year and wants to look the same next year

  • a photo she took this spring to show where the daffodils came up & where there is space are to plant more bulbs in the fall

  • a picture of a plant she is trying to find at a nursery

These pocket pages also hold most sizes of seed packets.

Use the page protector sheets to hold charts like pruning and when to deadhead flowers.  It's also a great 'catch-all' for items like plastic plant tags, store them in the page protector sheet until ready to record them on the Purchase Records form.

Plastic 2-pocket notebook folders store full-size sheets of paper.  The pockets are handy for storing magazine articles, pages torn out of gardening catalogs, or printouts from the Internet.
